Find out more about our Training Days here.To be held at:Luke Dace Racing, Copped Hall Farm, Okehurst Lane, Billingshurst, West Sussex, RH14 9HROur thanks to the Luke Dace Racing team for hosting us and the Lord Leconfield PC Branch for organising.  Arrival from 9am with sessions starting promptly at 9.30am.


This day can be used by children to qualify to race in 2025.This Training Day will provide training for pony racing and allows the combination of pony and rider to qualify for Point-to-Point Pony Races and Pony Club Pony Race Days in 2025 (including the Lord Leconfield Race Day at Ascot on 7th April).  Older Jockeys may also use the day to qualify for the PRA Racecourse Series.It includes ridden and non-ridden sessions.A guide to the day AND tack list is available on the Training Day page of this website. Ponies will need an overgirth and neck strap.Passports will be checked on the day.Please be sure to enter your pony using the registered name on their passport.Entries for the Training Day close up to 2 weeks before the day or when full.Spaces are strictly limited and early booking is advised.For further information and with any questions, please email trainingdays@ponyracingauthority.co.uk

Entry Requirements

These days are designed for children who are confident in canter on their pony and aged 9-16 years of age. 


Children aged 8 may attend IF they are turning 9 during the upcoming pony racing season. 


Ponies attending the day must be microchipped AND be fully vaccinated against Equine Influenza with a minimum of annual vaccinations.Please note that no vaccination for Equine Influenza should be given more than 6 days before the Training Day which means that if you vaccinate on a Monday, you are not clear to attend a PRA event until the following Monday.


Please be sure to enter your pony using the registered name on their passport.
