Retention Policy

The PRA will keep your data for 20 years or until your 30^th birthday – whichever comes first.  We need to keep your data as it is linked to the pony/ies you have pony raced. We keep the race form of the ponies for new purchasers to see what they have done previously. Their race record provides important information for future owners.

We also keep your data so that we can help with any enquiries in the future regarding your participation in pony racing. These enquiries may come from other racing industry bodies such as the Racing Schools or the British Horseracing Authority regarding qualifications for races if you are riding as a jockey or applying for courses. We will not disclose your data to any third party organisation as set out in our Privacy Policy.
