Combinations MUST be Registered & APPROVED by 12 noon on Friday, 14th March in order to be eligible to enter.
With regard to balloting should the need arise it will be carried out as per Regulation 62 (v) (page 17) of the 2025 Regulations for Pony Races.
Ponies may not be led to the start. A hunt escort will be provided.
The Mark Weatherhead Challenge Trophy will be awarded to the leading rider from the East Anglian Area during the season.
The De La Sayette Challenge Trophy will be awarded to the leading Novice Rider from the East Anglian Area. (A Novice Rider is someone who has NOT won ANY pony race before the start of the 2025 Point-to-Point Pony racing Season.)
The following points will be awarded for the trophies: 1st: 10, 2nd: 6, 3rd: 4, 4th: 2.
The presentations will be made at the Essex & Suffolk at Higham, 18th April.
Race 1: 138cms & under OPEN Race
Race 2: 148cms & under OPEN Race. This has been changed from a Novice riders race as of 12.20pm 16.5.25 as at that time 0 entries had been received.
