The Taster Activities take place in the morning before racing. This is an unmounted day and is not suitable for those Pony Racing on the day due to timings.

Information such as parking, meeting place, times etcetera will be confirmed and emailed to those registered nearer the date. Please look out for this email around a week before the event. 

10.15am start, with registrations from 10.00am and will lead into Pony Racing in the afternoon. This is a chance to:

Have a go on an equicisor with a qualified coach
Find out what you need to do to get pony racing on your own pony or with one of our PRA Academies if you don't have a pony
See how fit you need to be to ride in a pony race
Look at the tacek and equipment used by jockeys and ponies
Have a tour round the racecourse
Watch children from 9-16 take part  in Pony Races

This day is for everyone (recommended participant age from age 6 to 16).  No specialist knowledge, equipment or pony required. It is an unmounted day and is not suitable for those Pony Racing on the day due to timings. Places must be booked in advance as limited spaces are available. Participants must be accompanied by a parent/guardian throughout the day.
