Two OPEN races will be held.

Please note the 138cms & under race is 4 1/2 furlongs (the website doesn't like 1/2's!).

Should sufficient entries be recevied one race may be divided. 

PLEASE BE REMINDED YOU MAY ONLY ENTER ONE FIXTURE ON ANY ONE WEEKEND.

THOSE WITH ONE RIDE WILL TAKE PRIORITY OVER THOSE WITH TWO RIDES SHOULD A RACE BE OVERSUBSCRIBED.

LATE ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

Combinations need to be Registered & Approved by 12 noon on Friday, 13th February in order to be eligible to enter.

With regard to BALLOTING, should a race be oversubscribed and not be divided, please refer to page 17 of the 2026 Regulations for Pony Races.

Ponies may not be led to the start. A hunt escort will be provided.

A prize will be presented at the Haydon Hunt on Saturday, 16th May to the Northern Area rider who accumulates the most points during the season at the Northern Area PtP Pony Racing Fixtures.

Points will be allocated as follows: 1st: 6 2nd: 4 3rd: 2 4th: 1.

The fixtures being: Jedforest (18/1), Berwickshire (8/2), College Valley & North Northumberland (21/2) Buccleuch (8/3), Lanarkshire & Renfrewshire and Eglinton (21/3), Morpeth (28/3), Overton Races (12/4), Leuchars (25/4) and the Haydon (16/5).
