THOSE WITH ONE RIDE WILL TAKE PRIORITY OVER THOSE WITH TWO RIDES SHOULD A RACE BE OVERSUBSCRIBED.

LATE ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

Combinations MUST be Registered & Approved by 12 noon on Friday, 3rd April in order to be eligible to enter.

With regard to BALLOTING, should a race be oversubscribed and not be divided, please refer to page 17 of the 2026 Regulations for Pony Races.

Ponies may not be led to the start. A hunt escort will be provided.

For 2026 - the Area Awards are open to those residing in the Devon & Cornwall and Wessex Areas.

Points will be taken from the best eight results.

The Synderborough Farm “Rising Stars” Trophy for the pony / rider combination who accumulates the highest number of points throughout the season.

The “Allerton Organics Shield” for the combination with the highest points throughout the season in the opposite height category to the above.

The “Greatrex” Trophies will be presented to the 2nd & 3rd highest point scoring combinations throughout the season.

The “Alan Walter Horse Transport” Trophy will be awarded to the rider who has shown the most promise throughout the season (i.e. the rider who is deemed to have improved the most and been the most helpful on racedays).

The Wessex and Devon & Cornwall Area finals will be held at the Torrington Farmers (7th June) and will be open to combinations who have run within the Areas during the current season. Where a meeting is abandoned those entered will automatically qualify. D&C and Wessex Area qualified combinations will take priority if the races are oversubscribed.
