This is a chance to find out more about the exciting and inclusive sport of Pony Racing!

Plese note - there is no Pony Racing at the Taster Session. 

Discover what you need to do to get pony racing on one of our funded PRA Pre Academy courses, for riders who don’t have a pony of their own
Try out some exercises to find out how fit you need to be to ride in a pony race
Have a go at the race position on an equicisor/mechanical horse
Learn about the tack ponies wear for racing
See what equipment is needed and what jockeys wear to race

This day is for everyone (recommended participant age from age 5 to 16).  No specialist knowledge, equipment or pony required. It is an unmounted day and places must be booked in advance as limited spaces are available.

Participants must be accompanied by a parent/guardian

This is an unmounted day. Information such as parking, meeting place, times, what to bring and wear will be confirmed and emailed to those registered nearer the date. Please look out for this email around a week before the event.

 Start time is 12.15pm and the session will last around 1.5 hours
